Introduction and welcome Sunny wishes to thank all those involved in this project for so generously sharing their time and love. Mediumistic readings offer those who are grieving a link or bridge to the spirit world and although it does not supplant the grieving process, which must run its own natural course, it does have the potential to plant seeds of hope where once there was darkness and despair. The Buddhists say that the greatest gift of all is Love and that the second greatest gift is clairvoyance for it is through this that faith is restored and nurtured. Having done this work for many years and seen the effect that it has on certain individuals, weighed down with grief and inconsolable sadness, as they walk away from a reading where they have tangibly felt the energy of their loved one in the same room, is a heart wrenching experience. Indeed it is a sacred encounter that I always feel honoured to be part of. If a client is able to connect with the love of their dear departed then not only does it help to alleviate their fear of the afterlife, but, moreover, strong psychic encounters with accurate information provided that extends all boundaries of guesswork or generalisation, has the potential to invoke deep change within the psyche of the client. Many who find communion with their loved ones through mediumship report on the transformation of their lives and how they come to believe in the spirit world while sometimes actively seeking to develop their own psychic gifts to help others with the grieving process. Once the seeds of that gift have been planted, there is often an inexorable urge to share and give to others…. this creates a context for the publication of these magazine readings in the hope that those who are bereaved and depressed may find comfort and solace in the stories of others; that they may come to feel their loved ones around them as they read the words of these stories. The information supplied by Sunny is written in darker text and the recipient’s response is typed in blue. At the foot of each reading is a signed statement from each recipient to personally vouchsafe that Sunny knew nothing of their background and was not personally known to them at the time of the reading. Some of these stories are incredible in the clarity of detail they provide and it is the sincere hope that you may walk away from this encounter feeling truly inspired, assuaged of any grief you may be carrying and uplifted in the knowledge that life after death is not just a fanciful belief but that it is indeed a reality.
